Muchacha Ojos De Papel

Hello friends!

Here is my arrangement and rendition about a 70’s argentinian classic made by a band called Almendra (Almond) and componed by one of our greatests rock star, Luis Alberto Spinetta. This is a song originally sung with a so poetic lyrics. Translated to English the title is Paper Eyes Girl.

Backing track belongs to me and I worked it together with my friend and recording teacher, producer Ricardo Bianchi.

Here he played all percussion by using a Roland Octapad SPD-20 and electric guitars.

I played all acoustic guitars and bass.

Also is my first attempt about an acoustic guitar solo.

The guitar is a Godin Acousticaster model.

Here’s the link:

Please, give it a listen.

Regards,
Marcelo.

Hi Marcello,
Very nice tone to your acoustic and beautifully played.
I don't know the tune but I'm sure it's one that will quickly grow on me.
I thought the whole production was very good.
Congratulations.. Phil
