IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES-REMIX

I heard this Garth Brooks song in a supermarket this morning and just had to record it. It's missing the steel but I rocked it up a bit to compensate. I used a Tanglewood Jumbo for the rhythm, it's been thru the wars so it sounds a bit 'jangly'. Also my 82 Strat with a bit of stereo chorous and compression and a Boss FV 500H volume pedal. Drums are Groove Agent. Hope you like it.

After listening with fresh ears I decided to Remix This file. Things I've changed: I've lifted the double delay on all the lead lines, lowered the lead harmonys, separated the two rhythm tracks from 40 degrees to 75, raised the snare and added more reverb, raised the kick drum, raised and added more bass to the bass guitar. On mastering I added a bit of stereo expand. I hope this has improved the track.

Splendid Charles. A most enjoyable listen and....one of Mrs. Bakewell's favourite songs. :D

Thanks for posting.
