Hi John,

I found your sound and performance extremely good for a newcomer.
If you could only bring the lead a little more upfront and mute the string a little bit more so as
to make the echo taps clearer.

Bravo John,
Abel

Hi Abel,
Many thanks for your kind words & your comments duly noted.
I am only a 'newcomer' to your interesting forum but not to the guitar, I have been wielding my axe's for nearly forty years now & like a lot of people still trying to get 'That Sound'.
Best Regards
John

John it's a remarkable rendition of W/Land for, as you say a 'newcomer'. All the attributes are in place, the style of play--tone--echo--orchestration etc. It really is a remarkable and proffesionally produced file and not a million miles away from the original, it's that good. You are to be congratulated.

Can you give some info please on your hardware, the BT and perhaps your recording medium? You may be able to teach me a thing or two :D

Regards

Bri

Hi Bri,
Has I said I'm only a newcomer to this forum, not to the guitar.
The BT is an home processed track & my line up was as follows:
Fender Mex Strat upgraded by Chandlers, Callaham block, bone nut, Plek dress & Hank's Kinman's into Vox Amp-plug into Alesis Q2 into E.Q. into P.C. via M-Audio Pro into Audacity.
Hope this helps you & thank you for your comments.
Best Regards
John

Hi Lynne,
Thank's for your appreciation, most kind.

Hi Bri,
Sorry to disappoint but no I'm not he, I have never heard of him. :?

I owe all of the forty odd of you who have so far listened/downloaded Wonderful Land & especially Abel, an apology, who pointed out that the lead could have been louder etc because I gave the wrong link & you have been listening to the first mix, the one given above is now the correct one & I ask you to re-critique at your leisure.
Best Regards
John
