Tolo - 'As the rain falls...'

Evening everyone - seasons greetings to one and all...

This is another of mine - the first one from my traumatic DAW switch over to Mac (so still on a learning curve - forgive me!)

A tune of melancholy...

Hope you like it...

Best always,

As you said Tony, it is a "tune of melancholy" and contains some very tasteful guitar playing.

Once more I find myself thinking when listening to some of your soundfiles that they would make very good atmospheric film music.

Simply Stunning!!
Didnt find it melancholy - I was swept away (by the rain? :D) with the musical journey.
Wow!
cheers

Hi Tony -
Listened a few times as all originals take time to take in. Definitely big shades of David Gilmour in there - tone, style, phrasing etc which I know is an influence.
Another superb original composition ! - added to my "Tolo" folder which I reckon you can't be far away from releasing your CD now ?
Cheers Phil.

Ecca, Phil - thanks again for your feedback...yes I am a Floyd nut Phil... Can't help it. There are so many synergies between Gilmour and Marvin to me - Dave is like Hank would have been if he had let his hair down a little! Both masters. I am not worthy of comparison really.

One step forward two steps back with the CD....just when I think I am happy with the tunes - I then think they are not good enough...and write some more stuff.... And so it goes.

Hope you are both well,

Thanks again for listening,

Tony
