Over on the Guitars and Amps board Geoff Alderton asked if there were any recent sound files where the "Oasis Strat was used. David Martin posted some when the guitar first came out two years or so ago but I don't think there have been many, if any, since then.
I don't do a great deal of recording and I've only done a couple of tracks with this guitar. Here's one of them, TFAFP, recorded quite quickly a few weeks ago:

Cheers.

Hi Tony and good morning.
First of all thank you for posting a track using your CRS-59. TFAFP does show how sweet, if that's the correct word, the guitar sounds and I think it's a recognizable sound. It did come through on David's postings and I think the CRS has it's own sound. Not your everyday fat strat sound but a more clean, sweet, hollow, I dont know what the right word is, to describe the CRS sound, but I personally think its a fantastic sound.
Thank you again for posting and I hope it encourage's our other owners to post a track for us.
Regards Geoff.

Hi Geoff
Many thanks for the comments. You're right - this guitar does have a sound that's difficult to describe. It's obviously immediately recognisable as a Strat but has an indefinable 'something else' as well which is probably mainly due to those Abby pickups.
I should have mentioned that my recording was done with a TVS3 and AC15 Heritage, both of which would add their own character to the overall sound.
Cheers.
Tony

Thanks for the comments, Dave - much appreciated.
I'll try to post something a bit more typical vintage mainstream as and when I get round to it.
Cheers.
