Another favourite Shadows track of mine which comes from
The “Change of Address” album and also on the “Compact Shadows” album.
The Backing track comes from Ian McCutcheon’s workout 3.
I didn’t use Tabs but Tony Clout does them here :-
http://www.tabman.co.uk/cd-shop-ian-mccutcheon.htmThe Audio recorded in Cubase SX 5 from Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP Patch 0-37
And mixed with the video using 2 Sony SR12 Video cameras and edited in Sony Vegas Pro 9
A live recording - I used a Samson wireless transmitter to reach the Q2 across the other side of the room. (No Amp used)
Hope you like Mozart Forte.
Cheers Phil

Hi Phil
Let me be the first this time - I'm usually last!!
Great track and superbly played.
Really top class tone - just spot on! - and just enough 'bounce' echo.
Stonkin'!
cheers
Ian
pleased to see the abandoned trappings of grandchildren around you - the discarded doll, the odd Lego brick. My, don't they hurt when you stand on them???!!!

Yep Phil - I think that Ian has used the right word ie..stonkin' !!
Those runs are a right bugger to do (pardon my French) but your version sounds just right.

Thanks very much Ian and Roger for your replies.
I've known this song for a long time - before YouTube came along, so I thought it's about time I video'd it.
And yes the Abandoned doll belongs to Grandaughter Emily - I thought I tidied the room, but missed a bit.
The wife gave me ear ache when she saw the video.Oh well.
Cheers Phil

Now will you PLEASE!, TIDY UP AFTER YOU ?!.............I MEAN, AFTER ALL, IS THIS ANY WAY FOR A RETIRED PERSON TO BEHAVE? But seriously, hi Phil my friend, as Roger has said, there are some buggers of runs in that number. Speaking as a drummist,? ( i am actually trying to remember how to write in English here!) it also has a pretty brisk tempo too..........ahh, the years take their toll from me too! What a majestic rendition of a Mozart composition eh!, beautifully played m8. Matron has just called me to say that i should retire to bed now, as i have a rehearsal tomorrow...........so, it's a digestive biscuit and horlicks........ for me and i'll see you in July! Your Friend, Rich
