"Can You Feel the Love Tonight" is a song from Disney’s 1994 animated film,The Lion King composed by Elton John with lyrics by Tim Rice.

This is based on the Hank Marvin & The Shadows version from the album Hank Marvin & The Shadows play the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.

My usual set up Alan Brason custom strat, Kinman HMS pickups Alesis Quadraverb Q2 EFTP patch 0-36.

I borrowed my sons 1974 Ramirez 1A nylon string guitar for the acoustic bits.

Big thanks to Roger Allcock for his lovely backing track from "Back in the tracks" album.
Stretched it slightly and added a key change from A to B at 2:38 to match Hank's version.

Hope you like "Can you feel the love tonight." All comments welcome.

Cheers Phil

Watching the sun go down over the Somerset Levels with this beautiful piece in my ear pods.
I raise my can of Fosters to you, Sir Phil - marvellous tone and I did enjoy that key change.
The nylon guitar needs to be louder - I can barely hear it, but then again Androids are not exactly Hi-Fi.
Super job, mate.
cheers
ian

Thanks Ian for your nice comments - not watching us winning the Eurovision song contest then.
You're right about the Nylon string guitar not being loud enough - My M-Audio delta 1010 doesn't have pre amps which you need
when using microphones - It's on ebay now and I bought an Audiobox USB which does have pre-amps on the 2 channels.
A great bit of kit for recording/mixing guitar with BT's etc. And it's portable so can use it with a lap top anywhere.
Enjoy the rest of the sunshine.
Cheers Phil
