RED RIVER ROCK

First of all I have to say that I am totally indebted to Gary Taylor (yes – that one!) for allowing me the use of his personal and private backing track for this tune. Thank you so much, Gary – I hope you like the end result.
This version of “Red River Rock” is often associated with The Shadows probably because The Apaches (a studio Tribute band??) included it on their “The Apaches Play Hits of The Shadows”. The Shads never recorded it themselves.
I’ve tried to get the sound of The Apaches Lead guitar as best I can with my limited equipment but the whole point of this tune is that it is great fun to play.
Brason Strat-Boss CS-3 on 50%-Q2EFTP Patch 16-Korg Ampworks on AC15 setting-straight to Cakewalk GTPro2.
Cheers
Ian

Wow Ian ! That was a brilliant version of Red River Rock !!! - full of energy and life.
Always loved the Apaches version of this with the 2 key changes - You did a great version using Gary's BT.
Very well played and a great soundfile which was refreshing and great to listen to.

All the best .. Phil
