Beautiful version of Sleepwalk

I just found this beautiful version of Sleepwalk by Hans Hollestelle.
Hans is one of the best studio guitarists and arrangers of the Netherlands.
He's great at playing Shadows tunes and recorded some great instrumentals in the sixties with his band The Torero's.

Anyway, I really like his rendition of Sleepwalk.

That version is close to the original by Santo & Johnny, it'll do for me. 8-)

Agree with Mike, sound not to my liking but the playing is second to none.

Excellent playing and wonderful tone. Although I love (and play) the Shads version of Sleepwalk, I've always regarded Santo and Johnny's as the definitive one.

Played with terrific feeling and with just the right amount of overdrive. Excellent.

In 1990, Hans Hollestelle recorded (anonymously) a CD called "Guitar Greatest", which includes several cover versions of classic Shadows tunes (all very good), which was sold in France on the "Arcade" label (specialised in "cover" recordings).
There is a version of Sleepwalk which is much closer of the Shadows' version.
