Hi all,

I was able to finally download the very short video of our live performance at the Huntington Beach, CA. July 4th parade
perched on a moving float.
The clip was taken by a friend with his cell phone and I could'nt believe how good the sound came out given the circumstances.
The drums are crystal clear and the depth of the echo just right.

What kind of phone was this?

Hi Walt,

It's Tim, a friend of ours, Surf music fan and Helicopter pilot who took the clip.
He was following he float and walking along while holding his phone.
I'll find out the model.
I too might do all my home recordings with that phone in the future.

Hi Walt,

It was a Samsung Galaxy 3.
You probably noticed that we don't hear much of the bass. That's because the bass amp is on the other side
and behind us. The 2 other amps are closer to the cell phone.
I wonder if the bass amp was close, maybe it would have generated some clipping.
