Sleep Walk

Afternoon all,

After a break of several years I've got back in the saddle with something relatively simple, a cover of Sleep Walk (arrangement-wise, closest to the version from Live at the Paris Olympia).

The drums are virtual (Addictive Drums for anyone that's interested), the rhythm is a Variax 500 on acoustic setting and the lead is (David Martin's old) Burns Marquee, both going through a Line6 POD XT Live tweaked until it sounded about right. The lead was done using a Fender volume/tone pedal.

For maximum authenticity, you need a sample of French audience cheers and applause.

...especially the one guy who shouts about 4 notes in?

...an essential part of the performance.

I reckon it was Didier Parot.

Or maybe Bernard Broche.

Thanks both.

Yes David, you can't fault them. It's the nearest thing I've found to a 'plug in and go' version of That Sound!

Cheers
