So many people have recorded this vocal but I always associate it with Bet MIdler. Some years ago, when I was out of work and mightily depressed, this came on the Radio and (not to put too fine a point on it) it broke the inward spiralling circle. It's a bit of a family "anthemn" now. I love this version, not so much Shads but very much CC. Beautiful. I just LOVE that little infill at 2.37. That kind of detail is wonderful. Flipping heck Charles. Your s/fs are like a London bus, wait ages for one and shedloads come at once. The difference is that yours are worth waiting for. This one has a very emotive feel and you play it sensitively with a great tone. One to relax to.
