BE WITH ME ALWAYS

Here's a Rarity. As far as I know, no-one has ever posted this great tune.
“Heathcliff”, the 1996 musical that starred Cliff Richard (who was, I'm sorry folks, excellent) has a wonderful score by John Farrar, not least of which “Had To Be” is a popular tune for Hank style instrumental guitar, as played by Jimbo recently.
However, “Be With Me Always” was always the stand out song for me. The lyrics are a bit dark to say the least but the tune, IMO, is gorgeous.
Here is my interpretation.
Key B, I think.
Usual kit – Brason Strat – Q2 patch 34 – Korg Ampworks AC30 twin cab – Cakewalk GT Pro2

Hi Ian - Haven't heard the song before I'm sure it's a grower.
Very smooth playing and a great tone from your Strat.

Cheers Phil

Thanks for listening and the kind comments.
"Heathcliff" had some stunning music in it, although the theme (the book "Wuthering Heights") is a bit dark and cruel.
Here is link to Cliff singing it on The Des O Connor Show  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYujQ2rBQVo
and you'll realise how black the lyrics are.
I had a bit of trouble mixing this down - must be out of practise after my Layoff.
cheers
