A visitor to one of my web sites has asked about the value of a TR2 it is in fair to good condition and all original. I haven't seen many of these for sale so I am a bit unsure of how to advise him. Here's a few pictures anyone have any thoughts?

It would be helpful if you could reduce the image size of the pics so that they can be viewed without scroll bars.
I've done one for you in Photoshop but lots of other programs will do the same. 400 horizontal pixels is all you need.

Smaller pictures also help this website because big pictures take up a lot of bandwidth and that all has to be paid for.

Looking at that I would think realistically around £600. They are fairly rare but not over popular. Does it have an original case ?

Someone has pointed out incorrect tremolo arm and bridge and for some reason the pick ups are inverted.

I have a very nice greenburst TR2 which I bought for £200 from the Carlsbro shop in Nottingham in 1985. It doesn't appear to have been modified but I can't see where the battery goes to make it 'active'. It sounds quite nice without, though!

There's one for sale in Australia at a ridiculous price but there are pictures which show on one where the battery goes

Hey...thanks William!! I'll unscrew the scratchplate and investigate. I might be hearing it as it's meant to sound for the first time in over 30 years!!!
