Vibra Artist jack socket!

I have a late 1960, or early ‘61 Vibra Artist. It has the original case and hasn’t been played much over the years. Does anyone know what jack plug would work with it? It’d be nice to make up a cable with the appropriate end to keep it original, and not upgrade the socket to a modern one. Any info on if they exist anywhere would be much appreciated!!

You need a 3/16" jack plug and they are rare!
Three-sixteenths and standard quarter-inch jack plugs.JPG

The plug you see in this picture (shown in comparison with a standard 1/4") is the one that I use with my Artist (see my avatar).

I don't know of a source, I'm afraid. Maybe Bill Lovegrove will have some ideas?

Could you show us a picture of your Artist? Does it have an off-set contour neck?
