Value of a Burns Legend Deluxe ?

Hi I am the owner of a UK made Burns Legend Custom Deluxe made in 2001 number 0115 as seen in picture to the right
Could someone tell me tell me please the 2nd hand value and the replacement value

Like a car I would assume a standard insurance would require its market value. I seem to recall they cost around £1850 at one time so this could be a starting point?

The worth of an item is determined by what it someone would want to pay for it in the current market - it's as simple as that.

Barry Gibson at Burns should be able to give you an idea of the 'replacement' value for insurance purposes, which of course will be different to the sale price, which is market driven.

Failing better advice, Nigel, what sale price would you be willing to accept for it? And insure it for that?

The value for insurance will be the replacement value, not second hand value. You need to check with Barry Gibson, but I would say for a replacement "custom" Burns it will be between £3,000 and £3,500 for certain.
