Hi does anybody know where the truss rod adjuster is located on the Burns Drifter cer 1999 is it the same as the marvin / Legend ? or would it be located at the base of the neck like a vintage Fender ?

Cheers

Check out the neck plate... if it's light plastic, chances are that the adjuster is Legend style accessed through a hole beneath. If it's metal with big screws then you should look elsewhere...

But does it need adjusting? ;)

The Drifter's truss rod is adjusted by means of an Allen key (supplied with the guitar) through a hole in the neck plate just above the serial number. The key fits into a gearing mechanism which adjusts the rod by turning the key clockwise or anti-clockwise as necessary.

Thanks Terry and David thought that hole was for a micro tilt adjustment ( how wrong can you be )

Neck now adjusted and guitar playing like a "Dream" LOL :D
