Thanks Bill,

I did see that one and noted that it was local...but I just had an attack of G.A.S. a couple of weeks ago and bought a double neck 6/12!!

There are always bits missing from Burns/Baldwin guitars of that era. :|

If the arm is missing, are the rest of the trem components (under the bridge plate) intact?

Still, it's better than the Bison I saw about thirty years ago - with two DiMarzio PAF pickups butchered into the scratchplate...

My first 'Marvin' had been similarly hacked about to take two humbuckers. Dr Geddes - with lots of help from consultant Professor Day - restored it to (almost) full health...

Jim,
I think I bought that Bison. I am sure it was in the early / mid '80s I saw a scroll neck Bison with DiMarzios in neck and bridge position and original single coil in mid, hanging up in a shop in Denmark Street. I bought it and had new scratchplates made by Eddie Cross to restore it to correct three RezoMatic configuration. I used that guitar alongside my Strat and Marvin when I played in The Shudders in that mid - late '80s and then sold it in the mid-'90s. Funnily enough I came across the "butchered" scratch plates about two years ago when clearing the attic. They were worthless so went in the skip!

Jim,

There's a spare bridge unit for one of these on EBay USA, Item No 270888472063 if needed. ;)
