JET's BLUE BURNS BASS.

Hi all.
Mentioned in another thread in general topics. Jet's blue Burns, last played by Jet at the Paladium gig, I forget the year, Is, as someoone pointed out in the article, a Shadows bass. The bass was in my possession at the time for setting up and a service. It is a fantastic instrument and the blue burst finish looks great. Jet was playing his Fender Bass VI at the time but it was part of the Paladium deal to play Burns for that gig. I myself love the Bass and think it's the nicest Burns bass ever produced. Especially the blue one.
Regards Geoff.

Hi Geoff

This site has a problem with pics that are bigger then about 600 x 400 pixels. It doesn't resize them, it simply adds scroll bars so the pictures cannot be viewed in their entirety. All one can do is to scroll up and down and sideways.

It you put you pics into Photoshop or any similar program and reduce image size to about 600 x 400 before you upload we'll all be able to see them as you intended.

In addition, they become less valuable as 'trophies' , in other words, as images that other people can use for their own purposes. If you offer people high-quality images of special guitars like these of Jet's Burns, they'll just use them without acknowledgement or payment. Reduce them to 'snapshots' and they'll have to come to you first for the good quality versions.

Speaking of that, Ray, any chance of a higher-res emailed copy of that pic of The Secrets with Wild Bob? :)

Hi Geoff

Yes, that's better, but the image sizes could be even smaller to eliminate scroll bars.

Hi Jim

Yes, can do. The pic as I found it on my hard drive is actually a composite of three pics, all variations of the same shot, probably placed like that to print on to one sheet of A4.
