Hi All,
This is the label on the rear trem cover on my Strat.
Does any member on the forum have a Strat the same.
I bought it second hand about 10 Years ago, I would like to know if anyone knows how much this would cost new in 2000.
The serial no. is MN9391824 Made in Mexico.
I would be grateful for any information.
Thanks in advance,
Cheers Jim

Looks like a fake, certainly the spelling of 'Signature' (Signiture) is wrong.

This would appear to suggest there is such a guitar, certainly not a fake

I remember this previious thread, in fact I started it. There was/is little information concerning this limited run but Ecca had one and supplied some very comprehensive information about them. I still have mine and although tempted to sell it on occasions I shall probably keep it.

Thanks very much for that Mikey.

I was beginning to think I had been sold a pup.

Does yours have the label on the trem cover ?

Thanks again

Jim

That Fender logo puzzles me. I've never seen that version and Googling 'Fenderlogo history' doesn't bring anything up that matches that one.

Hi Jim. I just removed the trem cover but there was no label. The ser. no. of mine is MN9391884. There are some pics of it somewhere on this site but here's one so you can make a comparison with yours. The HBM facsimilie initials are on the headstock and not the pickguard like some other Signature models.

Others on this forum can attest to the existence of this MIM HBM Signature model.
