I've got one of those, attached to a Rod Jenks built AC30/4, serial No 0001, built into a black cabinet with Jensen Alnicos.
It's for sale having been in my studio for almost ten years and it's still as new. It sounds terrific - instant THAT SOUND.
Anybody wanting one of these is welcome to PM me. :)

To get back to the thread, if you just want a panel you could try Steve Giles who used to work for JMI/Music Ground, as he built AC 30s for them and left, taking his parts with him. He still sells bits on eBay. JMI did offer the AC30/4, which is why it may be worth pursuing. Rick Harrison (JMI owner) actually saw mine at he gig he booked us for on one of the occasions I gigged it. He was gutted that mine was so well made and criticised the cabinet for having the black plastic corners.

Hello Dave
And thanks for your reply.
Do you have any contact info on Steve Giles?

I found him on one of the valve amp forums a couple of years ago, I haven't been in contact with him since.
If you look on eBay you may see bits and pieces he's selling. The guitarist from The Runaways Gary Bryant knows him well, he lives in south east London. Steve Giles eBay name is Steves025uk and he has a few bits for sale now.

There is a VPW 6 input panel on eBay at the moment. Not sure if the seller is Steve Giles but he's in a similar part of the country (Humberside) to whereas Steve lived.

Steves025 is Steve Smith from South London. http://www.valvepower.co.uk/index.htm . Don't think he's aka Steve Giles.

Really? So that begs the question as to where all the JMI stuff is coming from that he sells. :?:

Don't know Dave. I've bought a few things from both Steves. Never occurred to me they might be one and the same! Steves025 certainly had chassis plates, chassis and top boost add ons but I didn't think they were the same as the VPW products.

I've just checked with Steves025 and he has some 4 input panels so worth asking via the website. And he's not Steve Giles!

So that's a result then, if he's got some 4 input panels, that's what the thread was about. :)
