Fender N3 Noiseless Pickups

Hi,
I have a set of N3 noiseless pickups on my guitar. I have been aware for a while that both the E strings and the B string pole pieces on all 3 pickups are below the level of the pickup casing.
I know they should be staggered due to the neck radius but should they be below the level of the casing.
Does anyone know if that would make any difference to how the pickup will respond?

kind regards

Roger

I have a set of the Noiseless N3 pickups on a USA DeLuxe Strat, they are purposely designed that way.
Mine sound fine, do yours ? If so I recommend you leave them be and enjoy playing the instrument.

Before the N3 noiseless came out(2013 ish), some patents of Kinman were not valid any longer in the USA and low and behold, the noiseless pu's of Fender changed ...and sounded better then before....
Guess what the Kinmans have lower magnets also on the GBE poles...
"Better well stolen than bad invented" springs in mind!

Cheers Rob
