Hi Tony,

Your right, room for more on one of the racks....
I've placed just a part of my collection in the sun, these guitars are on the racks for a reason ;)
I was curious, if one of the die hard fans and or guitar nut, would notice it and spill the beans....

So let see who's first :D

Cheers Rob

Now I know why there's a saying "by George I've got it"....
George got it for sure!
Indeed they are in the order Hank played them on stage....

George congrats...are we anoraks wearing guitar nuts(lovely honoured by the boys and revered as trainspotters) , shopping the same brands or is it like with guitars...?

Only one guitar is missing a 12 string Apache....I hardly can write it here on screen
Although a well build guitar for some (Hank had mixed feelings about it) I can't stand the idea a "Apache" guitar in the form of a Burns.
I find it cr***ng on history, Apache and Burns has nothing to do with each-other, except Hank played live all the tunes on a Burns for a certain time.
I'm sure somebody have played Apache on a LP or a Brian May guitar also...or whatever guitar...
The fact a Native American head was engraved on the Re-O-Tube base plate and the Apache nameplate on the 12th fret put me so off...
My wife Anja wanted to buy one for me, but I gracefully declined!
To be honest I had mixed emotions about the red Marvin too....I talked about it with Barry Gibson a year before they were made and I suggested...bring out a greenburst 50th, that's what fans wants and is history correct!

I'll get my coat or anorack ;)

Cheers Rob

Hi Ken,

Hank played a LP in the days of MWF .

Hi Peter,

Saving the world, that are very big shoes to fill....
I hope my intention to put a smile on fellow guitar minded folks faces, worked out.

When I joked to SWAMBO... lets get out the rest of the lot, she wasn't smiling....but showed me a seldom seen bird in our garden ;)

Cheers Rob

Rob, do you keep them all in tune? I kept my guitars (much fewer than yours in tune), but, last year, when I checked my Rickenbacker 12-string, I was surprised to find that the tailpiece had broken. Poor-wuality casting was the problem, but that made me think whether I should detune the guitars I don’t use much just a bit to reduce the tension.

Advice much appreciated.

Andres.

The red Marvin is a thing of beauty :D . I understand where you're coming from regarding the Apache, but they really are lovey instruments - get yourself an anniversary edition with the 2 signatures and it will be right at home in that collection.

Oh, and one last thought: Shouldn't there be an Antoria in front of the lot? ;)
