It is a Vox in a Box type pedal, which has the Top Boost Circuit reduced to transistors and other discrete electronic componets in a pedal.

They do not make them anymore, however they are available 2nd hand . Try Reverb which is where I got mine.

It has celestion blue and green speakers simulated and also EF86 type drive all switchable.

Mark Sampson is the guy behind Matchless amps and everything he makes costs a fortune.
The cheapest and easiest way to get the sound, is to learn how to set the Vox tone controls and use a HPF to tailor the tone, along with some careful compression.
The definition of 'That Sound' is the correct amount of bass cut in the guitar mix, without it being too trebly. People make the mistake of adding treble which makes it sound harsh. :)
