At last a Roland/Boss echo box that could possibly get close to the sound of the early stuff.

The heads appear equally spaced and are fractions of total delay time. No amplitude adjustment of individual heads, so not really a Meazzi style echo for Shads early stuff.
Hank Marvin obviously used the Roland echo for many years though , so great for the later tunes and with some jiggling might get reasonable results for live sets on the older tunes.
Either way , it's a great echo unit overall, nice one Boss !
