Blackstar have three new pedals one being a valve based delay unit another reverb and the other is a modulation unit for interest..
The delay has two multi head modes but not sure it will cut the mustard with Shads timings and control ... looks good though

I am aware that a few members have used the amps particulary the Artisan30 but no one has ever confirmed they are good for that sound although they have the right ingredients with ef86 and bass shaping switch on the ef 86 channel. The other channel though is a sound similar to a fender and marshall depending on the setting you choose and as such the amp is not an AC30TB on this channel. I think that sound still belongs to the Vox amps !

I have two Blackstar amps - an Artisan 30 and an Artisan 15. I use the original EFTP and am very pleased with the sound. I have never done a side by side comparison with an AC30 but love the tone of the Blackstar amps.

Hi,
Looking at the size of it I would guess that it is a digital
delay unit, with the valve used as a preamp.

Hi Brian,
I would be interested in doing a head to head with my AC30 and your Black Stars sometime.
Give me a call and we'll arrange a time - I feel a hernia coming on!

It certainly is, looks like a Marshall Echohead with a valve preamp. Detailed documentation is not yet available on the Blackstar site.
