Thank you so much for answering my question.

I have almost almost used my index and middle fingers to pluck the strings. I guess I will have to get used to playing with a plectrum, as I do mostly Shadows pieces now. It should be fun trying to get the right sound.

Thank you once again, and warm regards!
Anna

Just seeing you in that red dress plucks my strings!!

Hi
I Think most of the tracks If not all The tracks With Jet Harris on were played with a plectrum
Im sure Brian locking Used a plectrum for most of the tracks he played on.
John Rostill used a plectrum for all the Tracks i have heard him play on
that unmistakeable Burns Clunk percusive sound.
Alan jones plays with a plectrum But can also play With Fingers & thumb eg Riders In the sky ,Willie And the hand Jive etc
Mark griffiths Also Varies between Fingers & thumb And a plectrum.
i personaly prefere playing with fingers but i use a plectrum for certain tracks to get the right sound.
Kon-Tiki, Peace Pipe, south of the Border etc plus all the John Rostill Burns tracks, Genie, Rise and fall Of Flingel etc etc

Regards
Jay

Hi Andy!

Yes, I have been practicing - and with a plectrum! I have a lot to learn (sigh!) but I'm enjoying the process!

Warm regards!
