Hi everyone just returned from a very enjoyable shadowmania. I saw stingray performed and want some help with it. There is a very diferent sound produced while playing it. Has anyone any idea if an effect is used? or can it be done with amp settings?

The original record features a Fender Bass VI played through a Maestro (Gibson) Fuzztone unit.
