Announced yesterday that he has passed away after a short illness.
The founder member and bass player with Dave Dee, Dozy,Beaky , Mick and Tich, certainly
laid down some very strong bass lines on their hit records.
Always thought they were an extremely hard working band and retained their trademark 60s
sound right through to the present time.

Sadly again a legend gone, times get by fast and the number of our musical hero's decline more and more...
Thanks for the music, Trevor RIP.

R.I.P Trev, my ex-wife's cousin. A mighty fine bass player and also a very down-to-earth ,good ol' "moonraker" I remember them way back when they where called Dave Dee and the Bostons, used to play all the village hall dances in and around the Salisbury/Andover(my home town) area. In fact,I met my ex at a DDBMT's hometown gig at city hall,Salisbury. Oh, the memories :D

ps: a "Moonraker" is someone who is/was born and bred in Wiltshire.

Sad loss. Great band worthy of greater recognition. Very original material.
Only saw them once at Royal Ballrooms, Boscombe, Bournemouth back in1968 minus Dave Dee. Cliff Bennet & the Rebel Rousers snd the Love Affair were on the same bill.
