Sad news...RIP Johnny.

Although Cliff Gallup was an incredibly good player, I always like Johnny's sound and style..

I think the Blue Caps might have influenced a few UK groups image wise too, when they started using matching white Fenders.

I can hear some of Johnny's influence in things like Shakin' All Over, Brand New Cadillac...that thin wiry reverb Strat sound Johnny had on the Gene Vincent records after Cliff left the group.
