Another sad loss: Jim Fuller, lead guitarist of The Surfaris, died yesterday March 3rd. Jim was just 14 when he and the group created "Wipe Out" on the spot to provide a flip to their intended A-side "Surfer Joe". The sides were flipped and the rest is history, "Wipe Out" becoming the biggest surf music hit and one of the best known and most played guitar instrumentals.
