It is with a Great sadness that we have heard of Steve's very sudden passing
and it difficult to find the right words to describe how we feel !!
My thoughts now are with his family and friends may their God be with them

We were only discussing together last Saturday, I'm still in shock.

I was stunned to hear of this very sad news. I only really got to know Steve recently and I became a regular watcher of his Youtube videos. I cannot believe such a young man could leave us so suddenly. He will be greatly missed by all. My sincere condolences go to his wife and family.

Hi Dave,

I know exactly how you feel. I watched Steves live stream on Sunday afternoon when he tested his setup at around 3 pm, and was waiting patiently for the main stream at 8pm which obviously didn't happen. Since learning the dreadful news the following day I've been able to think of little else - it just seems so random and unfair, he was far too young to be taken so suddenly. I suppose it may help with "closure" if we knew just what happened to him, but to be frank, it's not really any of our business and I've certainly no intention of enquiring. If his passing has had such an impact on those of us who only knew him via his web activities, how on earth must his family be feeling? My heart really does go out to them.

I have listened to your rendition of "This Boy", and consider it a fitting tribute to Steve's work. I can hear Steve introducing it: "A little bit of This Boy" as he may have said. Thank you so much for taking the time to record it.

Great idea, Derek. Terrific performance, Dave. It has just that melancholy feel you need in these horrible circumstances.

Steve’s twin sister Kerry sends her appreciation of all your messages here on the ShadowMusic site. She promises to let us all know what happened once they know and are ready to share it.

Thank you for that update Ian. I really hope the comments here, and elsewhere on the 'net, offer a small amount of comfort for Steve's family at this terrible time.
