"THAT SOUND" but what about "THAT LOOK"
Posted: Tue Sep 22, 2009 3:14 pmYesterday I was showing my Wife some early photos of Cliff Richard and The Shadows, so this thread has been started after her remarks, she said "Just look at Cliff and Jet they are so good looking"........" Cliff has the head to toe whole package".....she then said "But I like the look of Bruce also"..........So it started me thinking would Cliff be so popular if he had not been so good looking, I'm sure the Cliff fans here will tell me.........I'm sure it 's true about looks, The Shadows have always taken care of there appearance right from the start, and have always looked the business !..............Just as Leo Fender was born to design the Stratocaster, I think The Shadows were born to start this country off on it's musical journey.
PS: So if you are going to sing in front of my wife you better be good looking, or forget it !!!
