Hi Steve

Funny I was going to ask the same about the intro. After years I cant seem to get all the rights chords for Hanks bit,

basically the tune is in A

Verse
A/D /A/ E/ - A/D/E/A

Chorus

E/A/E/A/A9 (A7)/D /A /F#m/D/E/D/A

Bridge

F A F E
mmm this is fun....mmm now I know your the one I'm gonna Dance with

Intro Chords this is where I need help, think it starts on 12th fret C#m (Dm Shape)

Steve A

Rightly or wrongly , I've always started the intro with E played on the fourth fret then to D on the second fret then A, bottom E and then back up to A on the fifth fret for the second half of the intro run (please excuse the lack of technical expression!). The rest is played exactly as described by Steve et al. Might not be "correct" but sounds ok to me.

Hi Steve
the chords i use follow the Bass line
There is a Bm Chord To replace a D Chord other than that much the same
you wouldn't realy notice any difference as a D Chord on guitar with the Bass playing a B note would make it Bm7 anyway.
Hope This helps
Regards
Jay
