Worst Guitar Tab Book Ever ?

I can't believe I bought this Guitar Tab book. The book cover should have been the tip-off that perhaps this was not a top quality publication...electric disco funk looking Shads !

Then, inside there are numerous errors in the titles, credits, and descriptions of the songs. I have tried to display an image and/or attachment of this (I'm still learning how to use this Board). In case it does not display, the first two mistakes I noticed were:

1. They don't have the correct details of how and why Hank got that first Fender Strat.
2. They can't spell Bruce's last name correctly (I'm surprised they were able to spell F.B.I. correctly).

I would love to be able to say that the actual tablature was also wrong but...ummm, to be really honest...I haven't yet learned how to read music well enough to speak to that. Hey...one of these smilie guys is laughing at me!

Regards,
Donna

ah yes I have one of these, gathering dust!

not only are your problems serious issues, I do not think they got this at all right, trying to have 'classic notes' and tabs, means they have to squeeze it all in, making the font rather small, which is ok if you are just reading it, but becomes difficult when trying to read whilst playing!

Dear Alex: I checked that particular guitar tab book, and the other books I have, and none of them have Rodrigo's Guitar Concerto. However, I found a classical music website that has the info you are looking for. Here is a link to the specific webpage:

http://www.classclef.com/concierto-de-aranjuez-2-adagio-by-joaquin-rodrigo

There's a GuitarPro file, a MIDI sound file, and two PDF's that are combination sheet music, chord boxes, and guitar tabs. These items are free, so all you have to do is click on them to download.

And yes, this tab book with the silly photo on the front has extremely small print. They tried to incorporate a lot of sheet music features into the guitar tabs, so the fret numbers are microscopic. Since the sheet music appears directly above the guitar tabs, that wasn't necessary. They should just put string and fret numbers, and let us look at the sheet music for any other details.

Kind regards,
Donna
