Hi all,
Does anyone know if Joe Brown, was the guitarist on Billy Fury's 'Sound of Fury' album? What a great sounding album! :)
Cheers

Good to know, actually. I didn't! Great album, and I really should've seen Joe Browns hand in it - bleedin' marvel, is what he is! ....I really don't come from the same place (no kidding), but my praise would be considered a little rude in these parts.

If Wikipedia is right, the drummer is Andy White, who was also on the main single version of The Beatles Love Me Do.

...or as historical fact - perhaps inconveniently - has it, he did bloody well not play on the main Beatles single version of Love Me Do.

He played on the album version (the one on which Ringo played a tambourine). The single definitely featured Ringo on drums. I still have my copy of 45-R 4949.

Joe of course did play on all the Sound of Fury tracks which Billy wrote under the names of Fury and Wilberforce!
The whole album was recorded in one day!
