Watched a small session with a late generation Yardbirds featuring J Page, no rhythm player, and a drummer singing with Keith Relf, on Beat, Beat, Beat on Sky Arts1. Mr Page was really grim, which was a real surprise given his awesome reputation before that date, and later. Wonder if he'd just taken over as sole guitarist?

That was when Beck quit and Chris Dreaj had to take over on bass because Paul Samwell Smith quit too. Not the best of times for the Yardbirds. :)
