We went to the same school and youth club, and he had a fully functioning band down at St Michael's, Cross Heath, just as I was starting to play. They had a great sound and I learned a lot just watching...

I'm making a few inquiries around the Stoke area and will get back to you if I can find out anything. The last I heard of him was that we borrowed a keyboard from him in the 70s, when he was living in this area!
