He was.

Before that, he was a Joe Meek stable player and played with the Saints (and perhaps The Tornados).

According to most sources and collectors of this genre, no copies of this film are in circulation or have been
found to date.
Maybe some private collector has the surviving master? (Dave Clark comes to mind)
It seems strange that a film that was in general circulation of cinemas in 1963, had copies that were possibly
junked?
Most other pop orientated films of the time eg Just for Fun, Its Trad Dad etc survived.
A few well known names in FP. David Kernan (That Was The Week That Was) and surprisingly James Copeland
the Scottish actor whose son is James Cosmo also an actor who is better known in historical dramas.

The BFI website has some stills from the film, including one with Heinz clearly visible...

By coincidence, the film's director, Robert Tronson, was a former associate of the 50s & 60s TV scriptwriter, Hazel Adair (Emergency Ward 10, Crossroads, etc.) who has recently died, aged 95.

Tab Martin appeared as a member of the Saints (with Roy Phillips), backing Andy Cavell in another 1963 film, Live It Up!, which featured Joe Meek's regular stable of musicians, in addition to various celebrated others!

This documentary on Roy Phillips by Ken Clark is illuminating...
