I can't believe they didn't get this!

Another forum I'm on - unconnected with music - has a daily quiz running, whereby if you win you get the chance to set the next one. It consists of how many latters are in it, followed by a cryptic clue.
As I've won a few times, I've set a few as well.
For instance - a film musical: 6,4,2,3, and he clue is - debut of a famous double act.
Or - type of alcoholic drink: 6,6, - this whisky bland sounds like a well-known complaint.

But the one I want to try out on you lot, is the one I set last week.
Album title, 5,6 - more appropriate for one member of this classic British band than the others.

They took 5 days to get that, despite several clues.

How long are you going to take?

Took you lot only a couple of hours, well done!

(Now answer the others, that could sort out the men from the boys.)

The whisky (6,6,) is "Famous Grouse"

Flying Down To Rio and Famous Grouse both correct!

I wonder who'll be the first to get the one I set this week? Again, the other lot haven't got it yet.

Another song title: 1, 2, 3, 6.
The clue:
... but the year after, he said it wasn't him.
