One of just many revelations in this amazing documentary! I've seen a rough cut of it (I appear in it and one point and helped out here and there as a PA) and it certainly throws new light on it.

Anyone near Guiseley tomorrow, go along to the World Premiere. I won't be there, but it's all for a good cause.

I should perhaps point out that although I'm old, I'm not THAT old! The documentary contains some 'dramatized' sequences relating to certain events that took place in the 1950s and 60s. For my part, I stood on my own in a darkened room (no change there then) and quicker than you can say 'Izzy Wizzy, Let's get busy', my surroundings were changed by the 'magic' of CGI and I appeared to be in a completely different environment! As I say, I saw a rough-cut of the documentary back in January (when it was about 90% complete) and it looked amazing! Whether or not my 'starring role' is still in there, or whether or not I am credited as Production Assistant (I helped out on another shoot in London), I don't know.

I gather that there are plans to broadcast it next year, so I shall probably see it then!

I didn`t know that Harry Corbet came from Guisley I was under the impression that there is a Sooty museum at Shipley not to sure about that. Even famous Steptoe actor had to call himself Harry H Corbet to avoid confusion with the names been similar look forward to seeing program next year keep us informed.
