Here's some live footage from 1984 featuring Whitesnake in Tokyo. John Sykes (who is 58 today!) can be seen playing a red Strat at 27m 10s. Never seen him play one before, normally it's a Gibson Les Paul.

Maybe we should have a thread showing everyone (post-Shadows) playing a red Strat? I don't think this can be purely coincidence, especially when you see the likes of Mark Knopfler, Pete Townshend, (and my mind is going blank!) with them.

Funny you should say that, just this morning I came on a 2003 video of the greatest band in the history of the known universe, Camel.

And look what Andy's playing!

I would be happy to suggest that these are not just examples of mere co-incidence.

Andy Latimer also has a JMI AC30 with a Shadows badge on it! Bit of a Shads fan? Maybe it was one of Hank's or Bruce's from the 2009/10 tour.

Listening to Andy's cleaner sounds on Snow Goose, they do sound more than a little 'Hankesque.'

Just been listening to the live version of Pressure Points. Stunning.
