Posted: 14 Feb 2018, 21:39One factor that has to be correct with an EMT is equal tension of the springs that suspend the steel plate.
A colleague of mine at the BBC (also a musician) made the tensions equal by 'tuning' the springs to ring at the same frequency - he used a tuning fork.
