Music in Heaven.

As I am in the 'danger age group' for the Corona Virus and I like playing music, I wondered if they had any music venues in Heaven so I went to a Clairvoyant to find out.

She got in touch with the other side and said there was some good news and some bad news.
I said, "what is the good news"? she said, "they do indeed have a lovely clubhouse / venue where they have entertainment, dancing, music etc".

I said, "great, whats the bad news"? she said, "your booked in to play next Thursday".......

Ta Bazmusicman, it's great to get some humour in this horrific situation. Keep
sending them and help keep all our spirits up.

Thank you Norman,
That used to be an old joke about golfing that I put a twist too.

Keeping this 'social distancing' is proving difficult.....my Wife keeps knocking on the window for me to let her in......

Yes we all need to keep a positive outlook on things, and the British are known for their sense of humour when things get tough.

Regards,
Baz.

Well it was humour that got our parents through WW2 and it will be humour that gets us through this. Doom and gloom can be nothing but counterproductive.

And anyone that disagrees with us, knows what they can do!

I'm not so sure about getting into heaven Baz, isn't it said that the devil has all the best tunes?

I'll follow the music, just as well really they probably wouldn't let me in upstairs.

Well Len, I don't mind which way I go....as long as there is some of our music being played!

Psalm 92v3 To proclaim Your loving devotion in the morning and Your faithfulness at night with the ten-stringed harp

I have enough trouble sorting out six strings

Well Artyman, after 60 years of 6 string guitar, this last year I have been messing about with an 8 string Lap Steel guitar.

And in two weeks time I will take delivery of a twin neck Pedal Steel Guitar (10 strings on each neck) with 9 pedals and 5 knee levers.
That should give me something to do during this virus lockdown!

My Wife has said, "if we are going to be shut up together for 12 weeks, it wont be the virus that will kill me"!

LOL!

When I started practicing on my lapsteel, my wife complained about the "whimper". Therefore, the instrument currently remains in the case.

How many guitarists does it take to play Apache?
All of them.
