Received this email. Needless to say, I won't be responding and it will be deleted. Just wondering if anyone else has received one or, against all the odds, if it is legit? Personally, I'm not interested even if it is legit.

Lol! How likely is a scenario like this to occur? It totally reeks of a scam.

Yeah. Most record companies and management companies are probably bombarded with demos and suchlike every day; I doubt that they would have to advertise or contact people themselves. I'm at a loss to know how they got my email address or what 'music' of mine they've found! Admittedly there are a few videos out there on youtube in which I am playing the drums... but hardly 'my' music! All a bit mysterious. Maybe if I was 21 I might chance it. But at 57, it ain't gonna happen now anyway or anyhow!

I think 'found your music' is a bit like the phone calls about 'the accident you had that wasn't your fault'. They must get lucky sometimes.
