I have enjoyed watching re runs of the Sixties series of The Fugitive on channel 39 takes us back to the sixties when life was a little bit less hectic. In one episode the actress Susanne Pleshette made an appearance ,she was dark haired cool and sophisticated not like the bimbos you get on Love Island or these reality TV shows. Which brings me to The Shadows connection .When I went to see The Shadows short film Rhythm` N` Greens she was in a film called Youngblood Hawke with James Franciscus How many members of our group went to see the film in the cinema and what was the main feature along with it.

I can't answer your question Derek, but I know what you mean about Susan Pleshette. We're in danger of being seen as old fogies with 'Everything was better in our day', but at least sex appeal didn't have to mean showing as much bare flesh as you can get away with.

A well dressed woman could blow most of today's bimbos away.

Get the violins out.............
