Just curious at the moment, but as I am considering moving to Scotland,I wondered if any of you are Shadowmusic members in Scotland and what instruments you play.

Where in Scotland are you considering? It’s a big country!

North East area.Aberdeenshire probably. It's not a definite move yet but I just wondered if anyone here was a fan of the Shadows north of the border.

There are a number of us up here, but most of whom I know, live in the Central belt.

Hi,

I am in the Highlands - Invermoriston to be precise - just 28 miles south west of Inverness. I seem to recall there being a member of this or another forum in the Aberdeenshire area.

Cheers,

Ian

Hello any Central Belt Shadows fans - I moved at the end of 2021 from Ulster to north of Glasgow and, having been a member of the NI Shads Club since 2010, would be interested in hearing of any club/group meetings in the locality.
Originally a rhythm player I was prevailed upon to start learning some lead numbers a few years ago - I own semi-acoustic Yamaha and Seagull guitars and a custom-built solid built by Rees Guitars (Cambridge).
Hoping to get some feedback from local maestros!
Best regards
Mike Clarke

There are certainly Shads fans around in Scotland including the Central Belt, but my feeling over the years has always been that a Club was not a viable proposition.

There is always the 'Field of Dreams' option ( "If you build it, they will come...") so I could well be proved wrong!
