Just over a year ago, our daughter, Sara had never used a pair of trainers in anger yet, this Sunday, having stuck to a rigorous training schedule, she is running in the Brighton Marathon as a member of Team Guide Dogs. In the course of her training she has already raised a respectable amount of money for this great cause by completing runs including, in recent months, several half marathons. This is her big one, though, and she has set herself a target of £500 to raise. She still needs, as I write, just over £100 so I thought I'd mention it here in case any of you folks would like to help. Even just a pound would be good!
