My wife,Margaret, travelled to Shrewsbury on the train yesterday. At Aberystwyth station there was a notice on the ticket office saying that due to technical difficulties, tickets could not be issued and would have to be bought on the train.

On the train, the ticket collector explained the 'technical difficulties' - the guy at Aberystwyth had left the ticket office key at home!

Classic! I travelled by train during the bad weather of last winter and was delayed for sometime in Swindon... "The good news is that the track has been cleared of snow. The bad news is that we can't find the train driver!"
