Another 3 weeks has rolled around again so we are at the Heroes tonight.

( dependant on how many players we have it will be 3/4 tunes each player )

We will finish at 11.30 latest.

We did have a problem for the first time with The Pub "The Heroes".

My comments of finishing at 11.30 were based on the band and players not playing after that time.
When the last player took to the stage at 11.35 one of the bar staff was very vocal in expressing that the evening was over and they were licenced to 11.30 and not beyond!

I later understand the Pub have tightened their hours of service which does mean finishing 11.30 ( or before )!

We had no prior knowledge on this so we will have to comply with finishing at 11.30. Fortunately one more number was allowed to close the the evening, so the last player will get an extra one the next time around.

Spoiled a good evening to be honest.........

That's an unfortunate shame Geoff, which we were unaware of as we had to leave at 11pm to get a lift back home. (car on the blink)
